Studio Lievito is a design creative studio based in Florence and founded by Laura Passalacqua, Francesco Taviani and Jacopo Volpi in 2012. An interdisciplinary approach and a creative vision bordering on artistic practice, allow the Studio to practice design in a fluid way, passing from the product to the space, up to the installation.
In 2012 they introduced their first collection at the Milan Furniture Fair Salone Satellite: a diverse and spontaneous laboratory of materials and shapes that outlined the main features of the their design philosophy. During the following years they were selected to take part in exhibitions and national and international events, including the Designboom Mart in Tokyo in 2013, and the first two editions of the Operae design festival in Turin and the third edition of the Edit exhibition format of Designjunction in the heart of the Brera Design District. In 2017 Studio Lievito was asked to be part of the Young Designers Under 35 by the Triennale Design Museum selection.
Today the studio collaborates with Italian design firms including Opinion Ciatti, Officinanove, Pibamarmi, JCP Universe, UpGroup, Boralevi, Jusbox Perfumes, MaVoix, Styl’Editions; and also with international brands such as the Japanese Mina Perhonen.
Studio Lievito follows the creative art direction of fashion brands and cultural institutes. It also carries on didactic collaborations with university institutes. Studio Lievito’s limited edition collections are on sale at Artemest, 1st Dibs, Pamono and Singulart. The studio is represented by Galerie Philia.
