In this project Studio Lievito explores the surprise and the contrast created by the sitter’s expectations for the flexible-looking cushion and the hard material out of which it is actually constructed.

Every concrete seat is hand made, so every piece is unique. The concrete is sculpted, finished, brushed and polished by hand. Each Sisieda is made on commission, using bases that can be customized according to the project or the customer.
